I showed up to get a haircut. I had never been and didn’t know I needed to check in via the app amid Covid-19 (not to mention waiting outside) Once doing so, it said the wait was 112 minutes. Any other time, I’d have said “screw it” and gone somewhere else or come back another day. But with starting a new job, I couldn’t put it off any longer and decided to just wait. It was hot outside and so I sat in my car until my “Rec. Arrival Time” which was 4:33p according to the app. So when time came, I walked to the door where 3-4 others stood waiting. Then I saw the sign saying “Rec. Arrival Time is NOT an appointment” so I came to realize that even though I had just finishing waiting nearly 2 hours, I’d be waiting even longer. I’m normally pretty easy going and understanding, but I wasn’t in the best mood and realizing that the wait would continue without any clues as to when the wait would be over, I was starting to get very irritated. After another 15-20 minutes, I was told I could come in and Tina was ready for me. Immediately, her attitude and personality changed everything for me. She was very kind and talked to me like she knew me. She did great work with the haircut but most importantly, it was how she chose to present herself which made me decide I will return. I hope this gets back to her so she knows she made a great impression on someone and turned a bad mood into a good one.
